Position Description:
As our
Senior Project Manager
, you'll lead software development and IT operations projects from end to end. This role is all about driving results, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies, and facilitating collaboration across teams and clients. You'll be the cornerstone in making sure our project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are not only met—but exceeded.

Position Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline creation. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Agile Methodology: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, meeting minutes) and ensure effective use of Jira for project tracking and management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance, support, and conflict resolution as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in. Manage expectations and address concerns proactively (Internal and External Stakeholders).
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Implement quality control measures and conduct regular reviews.
- Release Management: Oversee the release management process, coordinating with development teams to ensure seamless deployments and integrations.
- Project Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-mortem analyses.
- Meeting Documentation: Take detailed minutes during meetings, capturing discussions, decisions, and action items, and distribute them to stakeholders promptly.
- Requirement Gathering Facilitation: Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to ensure clear and actionable project specifications.
- Performance Tracking: Utilize Jira to monitor project progress, manage backlogs, and generate performance reports for stakeholders, create custom dashboard to track status of initiatives and client portfolio.
- Provides leadership with the recommended resolution and/or escalation of issues that may impact project scope, schedule, or budget.
- Tracks, monitors, and manages resource and capacity management conflicts and demands.
- Excellent decision-making skills – ability to negotiate and balance decisions and manage competing priorities across multiple functional areas.
- Make sure that all the controls related to the SOC audit are achieved across the SDLC team.
- Conduct monthly SOC SDLC audits.
- Make sure the team is responsive to client requests.
- Make sure the PMO guidelines are followed across all the team.
- Make sure work is quoted and approved by client before implementation.
- Configure and customize Jira workflows, dashboards, issue types, fields, and screens.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings within Jira.
- Optimize Jira boards, reports, and automation rules to improve project tracking and team efficiency.
- Maintain Jira plugins, integrations, and system updates for seamless functionality.
