Position Summary
The Senior Inventory Planning Analyst for Sites Inventory will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels, supporting manufacturing sites, and driving alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a highly analytical and strategic thinker who can collaborate across teams, implement best practices, and ensure efficient inventory management across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain and inventory management, with a proven ability to manage complex data, streamline processes, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Lead inventory planning and optimization efforts for manufacturing sites within Europe & CM Platform, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and operational requirements.
Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics, including turns, excess, and obsolescence, to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement inventory policies and strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Leverage advanced analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for inventory management.
Prepare and present inventory performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Utilize tools such as SAP, Power BI, and Excel to model and forecast inventory scenarios.
Collaboration & Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for inventory-related matters at assigned sites, ensuring strong collaboration with site operations, supply chain teams, and regional leads.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies with production schedules, demand forecasts, and supply plans.
Support strategic initiatives, such as Last Time Buys, Strategic Buffers, and Value Stream Mapping, to enhance inventory efficiency.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory planning and reporting workflows.
Contribute to the development and standardization of inventory management practices across sites.
Support initiatives to improve data accuracy, system integration, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain management, or related roles.
Proven track record of managing inventory across multiple sites or regions.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, Blue Yonder or BPCS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or Snowflake).
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level), Power BI, and other analytical tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
Knowledge of inventory optimization techniques, supply chain principles, and demand forecasting.

Hybrid or onsite work environment, with occasional travel to manufacturing sites as required.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
- Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
- Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
- Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct .
- Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R.
- 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
