The purpose of the Product Manager – Shopify Sites role is to own and optimize our multi-brand Shopify storefronts, ensuring they deliver a seamless, on-brand, and conversion-focused shopping experience while aligning site strategy, features, and merchandising with business goals.
You will act as the single point of accountability for the products in our Shopify storefronts—working closely with sales, marketing, and creative teams to deliver high-quality, on-time updates and launches.
What You'll Do
You will own the setup, performance, and ongoing optimization of our Shopify e-commerce products across all brands. This role will ensure our products are not only visually aligned with brand standards but also structured to maximize conversion, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all products within Shopify sites.
- Align site features, functionality, and merchandising with business goals and marketing campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer experience.
- Benchmark competitors and industry trends to inform site improvements and innovations.
Site Performance & Merchandising
- Oversee homepage, landing page, and collection merchandising to align with sales priorities and brand storytelling.
- Manage product setup in Shopify, including titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, SEO, and categorization.
- Ensure all promotions, launches, and seasonal updates are accurately reflected and executed on time.
- Audit product pages for accuracy, completeness, and optimization opportunities.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor site KPIs including CVR, AOV, bounce rate, and product performance; make data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain a living update log to track all changes, launches, and improvements.
- Proactively identify and escalate technical issues and coordinate resolutions.
Cross-Functional Relationships
- Act as the primary liaison between development (Wollson), marketing, and creative for all site changes.
- Write clear, actionable tickets in Asana (or similar) with defined requirements, deadlines, and QA steps.
- Partner with the CRO/UX team to implement A/B tests, evaluate results, and roll out improvements.
- Work closely with operations to ensure inventory and pricing accuracy across all sales channels.
- Platforms this role must use or manage regularly. Examples: Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Northbeam, Notion, Trello, GRIN, Postscript
Requirements
- 2+ years of e-commerce product management experience, preferably on multi-brand or high-SKU Shopify stores.
- Proven ability to manage a product roadmap and deliver results against KPIs.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce merchandising, CRO best practices, and digital marketing alignment.
- Experience using Shopify, Excel spreadsheets, and project management tools (Monday, Asana preferred).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
