Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Accounting Support Coordinator. The Accounting Support Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining financial statements, analyzing financial data, creating journal entries, and preparing financial reports for records and further analysis for the delivery of accounting information with greater opportunity. Preparing, developing, coordinating, reporting and participating in the accounting activities of the companies responsible for them, complying with the times established in the monthly and annual closings.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Produces layouts to reduce time in accounting records.
- Produces reports to control accounting items.
- Elaborates documents for delivery to External Audit.
- Produces Corporate Reports through the Company Portal (Magnitude).
- Produces variations in the income statements for the monthly closures with the necessary detail.
- Participate in different department's process of the Company that affect the accounting records.
- Elaborate and develop the accounting information for the delivery of the same to governmental entities.
- Prepares the accounting records in a timely and efficient manner for the monthly and annual closures.
- Produces consolidated reports with the information obtained from different departments for the Corporate.
- Produces reports to validate records and accounting balances with subsidiary companies that serve as the basis for the Consolidated Report.
- Elaborate the financial records based on the compliance with international financial reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree desired as Public Accountant or Accountancy
- Experience in finance and accounting
- 3 years in similar position
- 1 year in the telecommunications or call center industry
- English (60%)
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining financial statements
- Experience in creating journal entries and preparing financial reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
