We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer who writes clean, maintainable code and can ship features end-to-end. You'll build and evolve a healthcare software platform: designing RESTful APIs, integrating with third-party services, and contributing to the frontend (CSS/Bootstrap) when needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in PHP/Laravel.
- Build user-facing features and UI flows using CSS and Bootstrap (Tailwind exposure is a plus).
- Implement secure third-party API integrations (auth, webhooks, retries, error handling).
- Model and optimize MariaDB/SQL schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Write clean, testable code (unit/feature tests).
- Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize performance across the stack.
- Containerize and run services with Docker; deploy/operate in basic Linux environments.
- Collaborate via Git (PRs, code reviews) and participate across the SDLC from design to release.
Requirements
2+ years professional experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Strong OOP fundamentals (classes, interfaces, inheritance, design patterns)
Solid knowledge of MariaDB/SQL (schema design, query optimization).
Frontend proficiency with CSS and Bootstrap
Docker experience (dev and deploy workflows).
Comfortable in Linux (basic usage, logs, services).
Version control with Git and collaborative workflows (branches, PRs, reviews).
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to clean code.
Nice to Have
- Tailwind CSS familiarity.
- JavaScript framework exposure (Vue or React) for component-driven UIs.
- CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Cloud basics (AWS/GCP/Azure) and app monitoring/logging.
- Experience with mobile apps or mobile-focused APIs.
- No degree required — proven skills and experience matter most.
