The Leisure Manager is responsible for selling this luxury property, developing and soliciting new accounts to positively impact the leisure segments, while maintaining relationships with current accounts. Primary focus is on consortium, wholesale, and entertainment accounts.

What will I be doing?
As a Leisure Manager, you are responsible for managing operations of the Leisure to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Leisure Manager will also be required to achieve the Leisure annual budget and drive the team to meet and exceed revenue targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Travel outside the office to meet with clients and potential clients to develop business, present proposals, negotiate contracts, maintain contacts, conduct site inspections, and close deals.
  • Determine rates and negotiate contracts.
  • Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals.
  • Lead the identification, sales efforts, and relationships with individual travel producers, including retail travel agents, consortiums, wholesalers, entertainment accounts, and corporate travel.
  • Establish target lists for wholesale, retail, and corporate travel (when applicable).
  • Achieve annual room night and revenue goals for the leisure and business travel market sales program.
  • Initiate contact with potential business travel industry accounts identified through the direct sales program.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to develop strategies and tactics aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with the leisure-focused sales team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels.
  • Develop the sales force and build a high-performance team, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the brand's systems, standards, policies, procedures, and processes.
