GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
This role contributes to the growth of the International division by supporting the acquisition of new customers, deepening sales penetration with current customers and consumers by providing exemplary customer service and account management. In addition, contribute to the growth of or business in DR. Provides help and assist in all the activities related to the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1- Assist and support customer acquisition and opportunity development:
- Outbound contact with key schools (HS & University) and champ teams constituents such as Presidents, Registrars, Bookstore Managers, Athletic Directors, coaches and Alumni Directors to position Jostens as a strategic resource.
- Develop relationships and a thorough understanding of the customer's business
- Sell in a consultative manner to assist the customer in addressing such concerns as graduation rates, student retention, alumni participation and brand execution through recognition and affiliation programs.
- Assist with territory planning, performance assessment, and other administrative activities
- Assist in planning and execution of the consumer promotional marketing plan within defined territories
2- Distributor Dominican Republic:
- Use its best efforts to actively solicit, promote and increase orders for PRODUCTS and to sell the PRODUCTS for delivery to customers within the TERRITORY.
- Conduct a reasonable amount of advertising in the appropriate language(s) to promote the sale of the PRODUCTS in the TERRITORY
- Planning & execution of strategies and initiatives to grow the TERRITORY.
Required:
- 2-year degree in business, marketing or related field
- 1 – 2 years of sales and/or marketing experience
- Bilingual Spanish & English.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with customers and internal team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Financial acumen and skill
- Competitive spirit and passion for the customer
Preferred:
- 4-year degree in business, marketing or related field
- Knowledge of and experience with B2B customer acquisition and account management
- Knowledge and understanding of the college market
- Knowledge and understanding of B2C marketing execution, including retail merchandising
