We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Interior Designer to join their dynamic team and lead high-profile commercial projects.
The Interior Designer will be a creative and technical leader within the studio, responsible for managing all phases of complex commercial interior design projects, from concept through to final installation. This role requires a sophisticated design sensibility, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage corporate client relationships with professionalism. The ideal candidate will translate client aspirations and the firm's signature aesthetic into meticulously executed, world-class commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sophisticated presentations to clients, including 3D renderings, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Produce and oversee the creation of detailed construction documentation, technical drawings, and specification packages.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and the procurement of contract-grade furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including custom-designed pieces.
- Collaborate and coordinate seamlessly with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the design intent is executed flawlessly.
- Contribute to the studio's design dialogue and maintain a high standard of creative excellence.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2+ years of US-based professional design experience, with a significant focus on high-end commercial or corporate interior design projects at a reputable design firm.
- An exceptional and sophisticated portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual skills and a proven track record of completed, large-scale commercial projects.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp).
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, budgets, and client relationships simultaneously.
- Impeccable communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
