Role Overview
A multinational organization is seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to oversee and elevate its HR function in the Dominican Republic. This role serves as the primary HR authority in-country, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead HR representative for Dominican operations, providing expert guidance on labor law and compliance.
 - Strengthen collaboration with internal HR teams, local leadership, and regional/global stakeholders.
 - Lead and develop HR team.
 - Drive initiatives in organizational design, employee relations, and change management.
 - Contribute to ERP system implementations or migrations, ensuring HR process alignment and data integrity.
 
Key Competencies
- Deep expertise in Dominican labor law and regulatory compliance, particularly within high-volume service environments.
 - Proven leadership experience managing multi-functional HR teams.
 - Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
 - Strategic mindset with experience in budget management and workforce planning.
 - Cultural sensitivity and ability to build trust across diverse teams.
 
Language & Communication
- Fully bilingual (English–Spanish), with executive-level fluency in both languages.
 - Comfortable leading discussions and presenting to senior stakeholders.
