The Accountant is responsible for managing accounts receivable, invoicing processes, and payroll preparation. This role involves overseeing accurate invoicing, maintaining precise financial records with thorough documentation, and generating detailed financial reports.
Additionally, the Bilingual Accountant ensures compliance with financial standards, utilizes QuickBooks to streamline accounting operations, and leverages bilingual communication skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Shareholder Loan Reconciliation: Reconcile shareholder loans accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Financial Reporting Support: Generate and provide financial reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for stakeholders.
- Event Financial Assistance: Support financial planning and reporting for organizational events as needed.
- Billing and Invoicing: Manage client billing processes for a portfolio of 5+ international clients, ensuring compliance with Purchase Orders and Statements of Work.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain 100% accuracy in financial reporting.
- Invoicing Records Management: Maintain well-organized and up-to- date billing records in line with accounting best practices.
- Payroll and Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, perform journal entries, and ensure accurate transaction recording utilizing QuickBooks.
- Multilingual Collaboration: Leverage bilingual proficiency to communicate effectively and foster collaboration in a diverse environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, financial modeling).
- Understanding of payroll systems and expense management tools.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and billing procedures.
