As a DME customer service representative, you will handle new referrals and update patient information, including demographics and insurance details. Your responsibilities include selecting equipment, completing work orders, and creating delivery tickets.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages from patients, doctors' offices, and facilities
- Process and follow up on medical supply and brace orders
- Review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding orders, delivery status, and insurance requirements
- Update patient information in the system and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with the billing and logistics team to ensure timely service
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) must be comfortable communicating with U.S. clients
- Experience in customer service (medical supply, DME, or healthcare background preferred)
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Proficient with computer systems (email, CRM, fax portals, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
