We are seeking a
Junior Interior Designer
to join our team remotely and support senior designers in bringing concepts to life, from idea to execution.
The
Junior Interior Designer
will assist with drafting, space planning, sourcing, and project documentation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative professional looking to gain hands-on experience in all phases of the design process while working closely with a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and presentations.
- Produce technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
- Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain project documentation, budgets, and schedules.
- Support client presentations and design proposals.
- Stay current with design trends, materials, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of design experience (internship or junior role preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Strong eye for detail, color, and design trends.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with U.S.-based design firms.
- Familiarity with purchasing platforms (Ivy, Design Manager, Studio Designer).
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
