Position Summary
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data from various sources, with a focus on utilizing our tools to create insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in a BI platform, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Salesforce and Airtable to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends.
- Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and maps, to communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks on datasets used for analysis and reporting.
- Report Generation: Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Data Exploration and Discovery: Explore and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that can inform business decisions and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI or Airtable for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and data visualization best practices.
- Experience with SQL and/or python for data querying and manipulation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Proficient in English.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM EST
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST
- Weekends off
