We're Hiring:
Sales Engineer – Energy Solutions (Electricity & Water Sector)


Location:
Santo Domingo

We are looking for an experienced
Sales Engineer
with a strong background in
water sector projects
and solid knowledge of
energy solutions
. This role will support our growth by identifying customer needs, proposing technical solutions, and driving sales in products and solutions for both
water systems
(pumping, treatment, distribution) and
energy systems
(solar, inverters, batteries, EV chargers).

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales Directors and Business Development teams to achieve annual sales targets.

Visit customers (public institutions, EPCs, and contractors) to collect and analyze key information: needs, pain points, budgets, and purchasing history.

Develop and manage business opportunities in the
water and energy sector
using our internal system.

Prepare and present technical proposals; guide clients through solution design, product selection, and project execution phases.

Build and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships with
key institutions
such as
INAPA, CAASD, CORASAN
and private sector companies.

Analyze market trends and competitors; provide actionable insights to strengthen our product positioning.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in
    Civil, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
    (or related fields).


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years
    in the
    water sector
    (potable water, pumping stations, treatment plants, or distribution networks).
  • Proven track record working with or supplying to
    INAPA, CAASD, CORASAN
    , or similar institutions.
  • Experience in preparing
    technical proposals
    and participating in
    tenders/licitations
    .
  • Knowledge of
    solar and energy efficiency solutions
    applied to the water sector (pumping with solar, backup systems, etc.).
  • Background in
    EPC companies, distributors, or solution providers
    with 3+ years in water/energy projects.


Skills:

  • Strong technical and commercial knowledge of
    water systems and energy products
    .
  • Excellent pre-sales and client-facing capabilities.
  • Ability to prepare and present technical proposals clearly.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Fluency in
    English
    (mandatory).
