Whats unique about this job (What you'll do)
As we expand our digital capabilities, we are looking for a Functional QA Analyst to ensure software functionality aligns with business requirements by executing both manual and automated testing strategies. This role bridges the gap between manual validation and automation efforts, integrating cloud testing methodologies and AI/ML validation frameworks into our testing processes.
What You'll Do
Test Execution & Quality Assurance
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for functional validation.
- Develop test plans with detailed test cases aligned to project requirements.
- Execute manual testing where needed to complement automation efforts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Perform exploratory testing and usability evaluations to detect early-stage issues.
- Validate AI/ML-driven applications, ensuring model accuracy and automation reliability.
Collaboration & Automation Integration
- Work closely with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to cloud-based testing efforts, ensuring performance across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, ensuring quality is embedded into each development cycle.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring a seamless QA process.

What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Three or more years of experience in functional testing for enterprise applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical Skills
- Strong manual testing expertise with an understanding of test planning and execution.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Proficiency in test automation tools is a plus (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Knowledge of cloud testing methodologies, particularly in AWS and Azure environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML testing frameworks is a plus.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
