Language Makers Academy (LANMAC)
is an innovative academy focused on delivering interactive, high-quality language education using a flipped classroom approach. We're looking for passionate and qualified English Teachers to join our team and help learners achieve real fluency through dynamic, engaging classes for kids, teens, and adults.

Position:
Part-time English Teacher (Hybrid)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturdays starting at 9:00 a.m.
Location:
Ensanche Ozama, Santo Domingo Este
Teaching Modality:
Hybrid – in-person at our academy and virtual classes from home. Teachers must have their own devices for both on-site and online classes.

Your Responsibilities:
Deliver Dynamic Lessons
– Plan and lead engaging, student-centered English classes using our methodology and communicative approach (100% English instruction)
Adapt & Differentiate
– Customize teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs while maintaining high academic standards across our age-specific programs
Build Confident Communicators
– Create an interactive learning environment where students feel safe taking risks, speaking up, and actively using English
Integrate Real Learning
– Weave the 4C's intentionally into every lesson: foster collaboration, spark creativity, develop critical thinking, and strengthen communication skills
Track & Communicate Progress
– Maintain detailed student records, submit attendance and progress reports, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Collaborate with Our Team
– Work alongside a supportive community of educators committed to continuous improvement and shared pedagogical excellence
Your Qualifications:
Required:
- Teaching experience
(minimum 2 years in a classroom setting) - Bachelor's degree
in Education, English, or a closely related field - Dynamic & Engaging Presence
– You energize a room, inspire participation, and make English feel alive and relevant - Strong Lesson Planning & Organization
– You think strategically about learning objectives and sequence activities purposefully - Excellent Classroom Management
– You create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and motivated to speak - Effective Communication Skills
– You explain concepts clearly and listen actively to students' needs - Tech-Ready
– Comfortable teaching both in-person and online from home with your own device; able to navigate our learning platform and integrate digital tools seamlessly - Commitment to the SPEAK360 Methodology
– Willing to embrace our innovative approach and attend methodology training
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Excel, or other design/productivity tools
- Familiarity with flipped classroom models or blended learning environments
- Experience teaching multiple age groups
- Knowledge of communicative or task-based language teaching approaches
- Interest in professional development and staying current with ELT best practices
- Teaching certification
