About The Role
We are seeking a
highly strategic and results-driven Business Development Director
to lead the companys
market expansion and business growth initiatives
in the Dominican Republic. The ideal candidate will have
C1/C2 proficiency in English (spoken and written)
, in-depth knowledge of the local business environment, and a proven track record in
beauty & wellness, finance, entertainment, and manufacturing sectors

Qualifications
- Experience: 8/10 years in business development, sales, or strategic growth roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions and proven success in closing high-value deals.
- Language Skills: English C1/C2 fluency (written and spoken) required; Spanish fluency essential.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, or International Relations; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Proficiency in CRM platforms and market analytics tools

Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify, assess, and execute growth opportunities across priority industries, leveraging emerging market trends and competitive advantages.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, investors, regulatory bodies, and senior executives to drive sustainable growth.
- Market Expansion: Design and implement market entry strategies, partnership agreements, and project execution plans for long-term revenue growth.
- Market Intelligence: Provide insights on regulatory frameworks, economic drivers, and sector-specific risks to support executive decision-making.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and mentor local talent to build high-performing teams.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all business activities comply with international standards, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.
