The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounts Receivable Specialist
to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, helping ensure timely collection of payments while maintaining a positive customer experience. Your work will directly support our mission to improve financial health and credit access for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calling and monitoring customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments, and other irregularities (Double charges, Cancellations etc..)
- Perform collections activities including follow-ups via phone, email, and written communication
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly
- Process payments (credit cards only)
- Prepare and maintain collection status updates in Salesforce and ledger
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address account issues or concerns
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all receivables-related activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1–3 years
of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general bookkeeping. - Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with Maxio (formerly Chargify) is a plus.
