Goal of the Job
Works as key point of contact for Logistic Sourcing in HAYCO DR. Works closely with Hayco CN&HK as well as supporting related Hayco DR functions, acting as logistics consultant regarding all logistics requirements. Demonstrate ownership and commitment for sourcing, contract and supplier management activities linked to supply chain inbound and outbound, ensuring the business have the right partners both from a cost, quality, and business growth perspective in line with SCM strategy and objectives. Implements Hayco's Partnership/Innovation/Excellence culture in souring logistics daily routines
Job Responsibilities
- Be a key partner to the business on matters related to logistics sourcing activities; Develops and execute strategies to deliver Budget and Medium-Term Plan targets in the logistics category
- Manages and support purchasing activities including contract negotiation with Service Providers and logistics supplier selection to contract Price, Service quality, backup solution and Commercial Terms of Engagement;
- Demonstrates ownership in complex expansion or NPI plans aligning the business objective and service providers' capabilities.
- Manages and leads multiple work-streams, own schedules, outline key milestones, monitor deliverables, identify risks and solutions, and deliver budget plans in logistics category
- Performs market intelligence of local and regional markets by providing cost forecast, market trends and impact analysis;
- Manages supplier price changes (index change such fuel surcharge, ad-hoc price increase etc.). Drives Cost Reduction and Souring Initiatives through cross-functional engagement.
- Leads QBR meetings with internal stakeholders and external suppliers demonstrating ownership of the cost evolution.
- Support marketing and finance team to bridge communication gap on logistics solution and cost integrity.
Job Requirements
- Business Administration or Bachelor of Science degree or other advanced degree
- Education Major: Supply Chain, Purchasing, Economics or equivalent
- 8-12 years of working experience in Logistics Sourcing and Supply Chain, or Project Management or Process improvement
- Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management
- Robust Purchasing & Negotiation experience with complex contracts
- Familiar with manufacturing and assembly of plastic products
- Local and Global logistics market knowledge, shipping/Air operation skills
- Problem solving tools (statistical, logical) and presentation skills
- Computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal communications with ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- High Analytic Capability in situations which are ambiguous, challenging and with time urgency under pressure
- Ability to both work independently and collaboratively as a member of cross-functional teams and with remote personnel; Ability to lead a project from start to finish
