We are looking for a Cost Assistant

What will be your purpose?

To support the Finance Director in managing financial closing processes, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health and efficiency of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Supervise and advise accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate external audits and serve as point of contact with auditors.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls.
  • Participate in ERP system updates or implementations.
  • Prepare regulatory reports as needed.
  • Support treasury functions and cash flow forecasting.
  • Conduct variance analysis and prepare reports for management.

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    On-site, in Santiago.
  • Schedule:
    Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday until 4:00 p.m.
  • Contract type:
    Permanent, full-time.
