About the role
Our QA Automation Analyst will play a mission-critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, functionality, and reliability. This role is designed for quality-driven professionals who thrive in fast-paced, agile environments. As a QA Automation Analyst, you'll work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to develop test automation frameworks, execute comprehensive test strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
- Design and automate tests for web and API layers built with React, NestJS, , and MongoDB.
- Create robust E2E, integration, and component suites using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, and Supertest.
- Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar) to run tests on every commit.
- Partner daily with Developers, Product, and DevOps to refine acceptance criteria, reproduce bugs, and release features safely.
- Track and report quality metrics (coverage, defect density, release-over-release health) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Contribute to test-data management, mocks/stubs, and performance or load scripts as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation for web applications. (Optional)
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and solid grasp of React, back ends, and MongoDB data models.
- Comfort working in Linux/macOS terminals, Git workflows, and REST/GraphQL API debugging tools (Postman, Insomnia).
- Familiarity with containerised environments (Docker) and basic cloud concepts is a plus.
- Advanced English—you can debate test strategy and collaborate in stand-ups, grooming, and retros.
- Available to transition to performing manual QA if needed
- Basic knowledge of programming.
