Supply Chain Manager
Barrick Pueblo Viejo is looking for a
Supply Chain Manager
to join the Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for providing strategy, leadership, and oversight of supply chain activities to ensure the timely availability of goods, services, materials, and equipment required, guaranteeing efficiency, contractual compliance, cost control, and sustainability across purchasing, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and contract management processes for Barrick Pueblo Viejo.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, safety standards, sustainability, and ethics in supplier and contractor management.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and continuous improvement in procurement and logistics processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, compliance, delivery times, inventory turnover, and internal customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the planning and execution of local and international purchases, ensuring the best cost–benefit ratio, quality, and compliance.
- Develop strategic relationships with critical suppliers and promote performance evaluations and supply chain risk management.
- Ensure traceability and transparency in bidding and negotiation processes.
- Coordinate the administration of goods and services contracts, ensuring compliance with technical, legal, and financial terms.
- Support the preparation, negotiation, and follow-up of strategic and high-impact contracts.
- Implement tools and controls to manage renewals, deviations, and contractor performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistic, Business Administration,
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the mining, industrial, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in contract management, procurement regulations, international trade, logistics, etc.
- Bilingual (Spanish/ English)
