GBS Dominican Republic is looking for a
Business Intelligence Analyst
to join our team and help us turn data into actionable insights.

This role will focus on building
automated reports and dashboards
directly from our database, providing leadership and operations teams with the visibility they need to make informed decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain
    automated dashboards and reports
    (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Write SQL queries and build reusable datasets/views for reporting.
  • Configure
    scheduled data refreshes
    and ensure dashboards update automatically.
  • Create and maintain
    KPI definitions
    (CSAT, Service Level, AHT, Attrition, etc.).
  • Proactively identify data trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver clear solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, governance, and documentation of all reporting processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of
    SQL
    and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in
    business analysis, reporting, or BI
    .
  • Experience setting up
    scheduled refreshes, dataflows, or ETL pipelines
    .
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in customer service, call center, or operations industry is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in
    SQL
    (queries, joins, stored procedures, and optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with
    BI tools
    such as
    Power BI
    (preferred), Tableau, or Looker.
  • Ability to set up and manage
    automated data refreshes
    (Power BI Gateway, dataflows, scheduled reports).
  • Understanding of
    data modeling basics
    (fact/dimension tables, star schema).
  • Knowledge of
    ETL concepts
    and ability to build lightweight data pipelines (using Power BI Dataflows, SQL views, or similar).
  • Strong
    Excel/Google Sheets
    skills for ad-hoc analysis.
  • Familiarity with
    call center or service KPIs
    (CSAT, AHT, Service Level, Occupancy, Attrition, Shrinkage) is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
    (or equivalent work experience).
  • Fluent in
    English
    , both written and spoken.
  • 2–4 years of experience
    in BI reporting, business analysis, or similar roles.
  • Prior experience in
    operations, call center, or service industry
    highly desirable.
