ConnectPro BPO is a growing business process outsourcing firm dedicated to providing exceptional service and results for our clients. We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced, dedicated, detail-oriented Bookkeeper.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and precise Bookkeeper to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to, journal entries, reconciliation, A/R, A/P in a QuickBooks desktop or QuickBooks Online environment. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high level of effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions.
- Record financial transactions, including posting journal entries to the general ledger.
- Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes, including vendor bill processing and client invoicing.
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (e.g., Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records (if applicable).
- Maintain an orderly and accurate financial filing system.
- Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be currently based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet all deadlines.
- A degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
