We're looking for a Lead VIdeo Ads Creative who combines exceptional design craft with performance marketing instinct. This is more than a design role. It's a strategic position at the heart of our brands growth, working alongside media buyers, copywriters, and creative strategists to drive results across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.
What You'll Do
Creative Leadership & Execution
- Own the visual direction of all video paid media creative across platforms: from Meta to Google and emerging channels using Traditional Design tools, AI tools and template systems as needed.
- Translate performance insights into high-impact creative concepts that convert to ROAS, AOV, and Engamement Metrics.
- Design high-performing A/B styled video ads to support the pipeline or unlock creative fatigue
- Mentor and provide design feedback to other graphic designers to up level output
- Manage your own workload and output with the request from Multiple Teams and vendors.
Strategy & Optimization
- Partner closely with media buyers and creative strategists to align on performance goals and iterate based on data
- Analyze ad performance metrics to identify top-performing themes, fatigue signals, and new test hypotheses using Motion or Meta Ads manager.
- Maintain and evolve video ad playbooks, SOPs, and creative testing frameworks that drive consistency and speed
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work hand-in-hand with copywriters, video editors, vendors, and marketing campaign owners to ensure video creatives are aligned with messaging, funnel stage, and brand identity
- Manage creative workflows using tools like Notion and ClickUp, ensuring deadlines and feedback loops are met
- Support recruitment efforts by sourcing and interviewing freelance or full-time design talent innovation
- Stay ahead of design and DTC trends, platform updates, and algorithm shifts to keep creatives relevant and forward-thinking
- Collaborate on video ideation and visual strategy alongside other creative team leads (experience here is a plus, not required)
What You Bring
- 4–6+ years in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or performance creative role
- A strong portfolio of high-performing video ads for DTC or performance-driven brands
- Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, AI tools
- Familiarity with Canva, Notion, ClickUp, Meta Ads, Google Workspace, and other digital ad platforms
- Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or Motion being able to navigate ad accounts, interpret data, and identify opportunities
- Excellent understanding of direct-response design principles, visual hierarchy, CTA placement, and thumb-stopping design techniques
- Proven experience managing creative pipelines and mentoring designers
- Highly collaborative, clear communicator, and thrives in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment
