Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef at Hotel Santiago Curio Collection by Hilton in Santiago de los Caballeros. The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations, including menu development, food preparation, kitchen staff management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Daily tasks include directing food preparation processes, supervising kitchen staff, managing supply orders, and maintaining cost control. The Executive Chef will also collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and exceptional dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in menu development, food preparation, and culinary presentation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
  • Experience in inventory management and cost control
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment is a plus
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution
