We're looking for a driven and strategic IT Project Manager to oversee multiple technology projects within telecommunications and satellite services. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between clients, internal teams, and leadership — ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple IT and telecom projects from initiation through completion.
- Oversee sales and operations pipelines using proprietary CRM tools.
- Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource needs in partnership with leadership.
- Ensure projects meet client requirements, while proactively managing risks, changes, and challenges.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, DIRECTV employees, and technicians to ensure smooth execution.
- Support customer success through proactive communication and follow-ups.
- Manage financials, reporting, and profitability for assigned projects.
- Mentor and guide supervisors and technicians, fostering a culture of professionalism and customer focus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecommunications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in project management, preferably in telecommunications, satellite, or networking.
- Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and overcoming unexpected challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and CRM systems.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret project KPIs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and train teams.
- Solid organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skill.
Technical Expertise
- Telecom, VoIP, satellite systems, networking, or cabling.
- Dispatching, scheduling, and field project coordination.
- Troubleshooting technical and personnel issues effectively.
