Position Summary
The
Bilingual Patient Support
agent will act as the first point of contact between patients and the healthcare team. This role ensures patients receive timely assistance with scheduling, follow-ups, and general inquiries while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments: scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-ups.
- Provide accurate information regarding services, availability, and procedures (non-clinical guidance).
- Handle patient inquiries in both English and Spanish with clarity and empathy.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and company protocols.
- Support the quality of service by documenting interactions and reporting any issues.
Qualifications
- Education:
Technical degree or university studies in healthcare, administration, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory). - Language:
Advanced or fluent English level. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
